Narender Kirar is a technocrat and visionary leader who strongly believes the pursuit of happiness, healthy living and constant improvement in the quality of life is the fundamental right of every human being. He is a potential incubator, performance catalyst and change champion. He has started a mission to give back to society by volunteering in youth development, helping them to explore and thrive upcoming opportunities by leveraging lessons learned in his own journey. Mr. Kirar graduated in Mechanical Engineering from highly esteemed Delhi College of Engineering and then completed a Masters in Operation Research and Resource Optimization.
In the past 27 years, Mr. Kirar has served Public Sector and Public-private partnership organizations at various engineering, Managerial and leadership roles. While working at National Fertilizers Limited, Mr. Kirar had the opportunity to have a mentor like Mr. PS Grewal, CMD NFL, Mr. M Ravindran Director GAIL, to develop valuable technical/managerial skills and realized being a good human being is a most important trait of a leader.
Currently, Mr. Kirar is working as Assistant General Manager with HPCL Mittal Energy Limited, India’s first public-private partnership company which is working in line with global best practices and has been awarded best Indian refinery by the government of India and ensuring best in Industry practices are followed along with fellow company leadership.
Finally, Mr. Kirar is passionate about mentoring and coaching individuals and teams from various walks of life for personal and professional development. On the lighter side, he is an avid reader of technical and management journals and a passionate biker rider and motorsports enthusiast who leads Bathinda RE Club.
