Hi Guys, I am very passionate about safety first, may it be plant safety or road safety, cyber safety, safety rules, food safety, women safety, electrical safety, industrial safety but following road safety rules is really indispensable. when I see any deviation or non-compliance on road or at my workplace then it hit me at my heart.
First I will share how a policeman has smartly conveyed road safety to a big shot in a very simple and polite way. The incident is briefed to me by one of my great management scholer friends.
A police man stopped a big shot going with his wife in luxurious car who was not wearing safety belt.
The man stopped car and open glasses and asked how much I have to pay as challan. Police officer politely answered Sir you are a such well educated and respectable member of society but challan is normally for normal, illetrate person who are not educated hence I cannot challan you but you have to pay panelity of your level.
Man surprised and got confused and asked what you want now.
A policeman asked the man to say sorry to his wife sitting next to him as she would be the worst affected person if something happens to you..
Now the man understands the massage and says sorry to the policemen and his wife and promises next time onward he will wear a safety belt before starting the car.
Do a penalty of INR 500 or 5000 could teach this lesson to a person who least cares about safety and safety shop.
