Comfort zone as the name suggests is a place or psychological state for an individual in his personal and professional life where he feels at home and doing routine things without taking new initiatives. Even the people are not aware that they are in their comfort zone.
We have either little or poor experience with whatever is outside our comfort zone. Learning to push those boundaries for yourself is helpful for advancing and succeeding both in your career and your personal life.
The following situations confirm that you are in the comfort zone.
- You are happy with the routine things you are doing on a daily basis.
- No new initiatives have been planned other than routine.
- Fear of the unknown while doing new things.
- Not able to anticipate change which may come all of a sudden.
- The stress and anxiety level is very minimal.
