Hi Guys, I was reading an article on worry published by the BK team. Then a thought came in my mind to go inside the process of worry and how we can come out of it with simple changes in our thinking pattern. First of all, let’s find out what is worry how we can recognize that we are under the vicious cycle of worry and how we can come out of the biggest problem that people often face in life at one time or another without knowing the consequence of it.

Let’s understand the basic definition of worry in a simple form that worry is the process of imagining the worst outcome or worst result of any situation or activity we are presently in or the problem which is presently existed or anticipated or scenario which is presently not there but may exist.

This issue or topic is very relevant in present scenarios of lockdown existing across the globe with severe results we are seeing from other places of world including India.

Secondly, the scenario of uncertainty is another big reason for worry and we normally anticipate the worst outcome and start feeling the effect of that outcome which actually not present but chances are there to occur or may not occur.

The negative energy of worry normally harms more than actual scenarios that weaken our spirit and fill our mind with negative assumptions and we suffer the worst outcome many more times in our mind that it can happen in reality.

I want to share a similar incident happen with me yesterday.

I got a dream last night that we are in a forest and one lion takes away one man to eat it then I see one more lion about 100 yards away coming towards me. Now I thought what to do now I know very well even in the dream that I cannot run faster than lion so I remember an old story that if you lie without any movement than chances are that the animal may not observe you or attack you. Then I lie down on the ground stopped my breath with my face down and waiting for the lion to come towards me. Suddenly after some time, I felt a paw of a lion on my back and after that, no movement happens. I waited for a while and don’t have the courage to check weather the lion is around me or left the site then all of sudden my sleep interrupted and I woke up I thank God it is only a dream, not a real scenario. I narrated the incident to my son and daughter and informed the final decision of what I was planning to do if my sleep not interrupted. I told my son that I had made up my mind while lying on the ground that when again I got the feeling of lion paw or his mouth on my back than I will attack him. My son asked can you fight with a lion and I replied I don’t have another option with me to survive but I was determined I will not move till I got some sign that the lion is trying to attack me.

Morale of the post is we should try to explore the option available with us instead of worry so that we are firm what needs to be done even in the worst-case , and don’t anticipate worst-case happening again and again as it will be happen only once. So don’t die many time before death.

Now we conclude that it’s important to worry, It’s ok to worry if we don’t anticipate probable negative outcomes than how we will prepare our self for those worst scenario but having the belief that by worrying we prepare for worst in future is a false one.

The ultimate truth is that all worries are often incorrect and false, and will not happen always. Secondly, worry is the wrong and negative creation of our mind which ultimately lowers our morale and makes us weak and powerless. There is a very thin line between Proactive preparation on one side and worry on the other side. All Proactive readiness or preparation for scenarios from bad to worst can be done without having many negative aspects in our mind which can boost our passion and zeal to tackle tough time if comes.
